The Portland Lido fleet has been continuously active for well over 30 years. The fleet organization helps plan events and coordinates fleet activities to enhance the ownership and sailing benefits of its members. Our local fleet complements the Lido 14 Class Association

Although the total number of actively raced Lidos has declined from the peak of the 1970s when our huge fleet dominated the Willamette river, the Lido 14 today is actively raced at WSC and at many regattas on the West coast in significant numbers. The relatively recent addition of an updated (but competitively equal) design that is available new from the manufacturer, the recent growth of Fleet 81 in Eugene, and our own continuing efforts, has brightened our future compared to 10 years ago. We expect the Lido class to remain active and healthy for many years to come.

If you own or are purchasing a Lido 14 and you intend to actively sail and/or race in the Portland area, we encourage you to join the fleet so that you can get the most from your boat. If you are considering purchasing a Lido, Our fleet captain (see below) is happy to answer questions.
